Challenge
Boba Tea Protein was preparing to launch a brand-new, unconventional product on April Fools. The product had to create intrigue, be legitimate, and make people question whether it was a joke. The challenge also involved generating significant buzz and convincing people to purchase a product that had never been done before.
Goal
To create content and visuals that people have never seen before in a way that got people excited and intrigued. The aim was to make the product desireable, create viral marketing, drive immediate sales, and increase brand awareness.
SOLUTION
The brand introduced “Boba Puffs”, a high-protein boba cereal that turns your cereal milk into a boba drink. The product was announced and launched on April Fools, and sold out within minutes of launching the same day. The annnouncement video of Boba Puffs reached 1+ million views on TikTok and 275k+ views on Instagram.
